Meet Your Instructor

Mike Anderson

Mike was an award-winning classroom teacher before moving into the exhilarating world of consulting. He first worked for a non-profit organization where he honed his skills as a presenter, consultant and content developer. He wrote workshops used across the world and trained many up-and-coming presenters. Now as an independent consultant Mike works with PreK--12+ teachers and schools nationally and internationally to support great learning. Mike has written many books for teachers including the best seller, What We Say and How We Say It Matter. In 2020, Mike was honored to receive the Outstanding Educational Leader Award from NHASCD for his work as a an education consultant. About once every month or two, an educator asks Mike, "I want to do what you do--how did you get there?" This course is his chance to share much of what he has learned along the way with you!
